Early Life and Career

Darius Morris was born on January 3, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Windward School and was a standout basketball player, leading his team to two state championships. Morris committed to the University of Michigan, where he played for two seasons before declaring for the NBA Draft.

NBA Career

Morris was selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by his hometown Los Angeles Lakers. He played 19 games as a rookie, averaging 2.6 points and 2.1 assists per game. Morris was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2012, where he played for two seasons. He had a breakout season in 2013-14, averaging 9.7 points and 4.6 assists per game. Morris was then traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2014, where he played for one season before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
